Female problems
I found out last night that DW Ed got fired last week. He is known as DW Ed for his numerous Driving While Intoxicated arrests. He is known for lurking in the shadows outside various wings of the hospital smoking in the dark. He is an orderly Apparently he was verbally abusive to a mentally challenged patient during a lift assist and got turned in by the nurse. Last year one of our frequent flyer drunks in the Emergency Dept got too loud so one of the docs called the police and had him arrested. DW Ed was in the next cell in the police lockup as he had been picked up on a Failure to Appear warrant. Ed told us he watched the drunk mouth off to the cops in the lockup and get tuned up pretty bad by the angry cops.
We had a "Springeresque" incident last night at the L and D end of the hospital. One of our ED doctors was down there as his wife was in labor. The doc witnessed a male slapping a female. We got called. We ended up rolling on the ground with the guy and he went away in handcuffs. One of the cops came back and explained the incident. Girlfriend #1 was in labor with his love child. Girlfriend #2, who is 15 years old, found out she was also pregnant with his love child. She went down to share this information with girlfriend #1. The sister of girlfriend #1 drove girlfriend #2 to the hospital. This upset our visitor very much causing him to lose control and slap her and push her around and also demonstrate what a man he is.He chased her outside and she fled in a car.While he was rolling on the ground with us, the mother of girlfriend #1 found out and went to the apartment of girlfriend #2 and kicked in her door and started beating on her. So mom also got arrested. You cant make this stuff up. Every once in a while we get these "who's the daddy?" type calls.
